  The Southern Cruisers Riding Club was founded in 1998 in Memphis TN. We are a family oriented riding club consisting of folks that enjoy riding our motorcycles and getting together for friendship and comradery with our members. We plan many different types of rides throught the riding season, many of them fall under these types;
- Day rides
- Weekly dinner rides
- Chapter rides
- Weekend trips
- Long distance trips
- Charity events
Southern Cruisers Riding Club Chapters and members participate regulary in many different charity functions and we have adopted St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital as our National Charity of choice and once annually we gather for our National Convention where we try to plan a staged ride to the hospital in order to present donations and to visit a few of the kids as we can. Many cruisers have cherished memories of these events that last a lifetime, and theres nothing like seeing the kids faces light up when we roar in to visit. We are a free club meaning there are no dues or fees required for membership, you do not have to attend all rides or events put on by the SCRC (Southern Cruisers Riding Club) and there are no mandatory duties for you to perform. MEMBERSHIP: We have adopted a participation policy on membership that states that the 1st Officer of each chapter will review their membership roster on a regular basis and any member that has not participated within a 90 day period "may" have their membership revoked and be removed from the roster. All Officers of the SCRC understand that ocassionally life gets in the way of our fun, and because of that, we also take that into consideration when reviewing member rosters. Generally, a member will always be contacted by a Officer to find out their status and if they wish to remain a member of the chapter. If no contact with a member is available or has not been made after several attempts by the Officer, then the member will most likely be dropped from the current roster. If this happens, and a members current status changes, they can simply sign up again at a later date when circumstances allow them to participate more frequently. It's simple, and not a big deal. All we ask of our members is a few simple things. - Dont give the club a bad name.
